I feel something in my head, it's been hurting for days

He started giving me advice, even when thinking was hard for him
Said his youth was like a fairytale
But for the body to rot, the time is needed
Even the prettiest flower, with time, wilts

Oak rots, water gets consumed
Smoke disappears and people die
He felt his old age watching his grandkids grow
And now he feels it more than anything, it's preventing him

And me watching how everything is coming to an end
Nothing lasts forever, the body wears out
The strongest oak, some day will fall
